This Nori seaweed is sustainably farmed in an organic certified area in South Korea, air dried to preserve nutrients and tested for contaminants. The farmed seaweed has a milder, less gritty flavour than wild nori seaweed.
Nori seaweed may also be known as ‘karengo’ in NZ. In Wales it is called laver, in South America, luche. Nori is an iodine rich food, and also offers Vitamin B12 which is hard to find in a plant based source .
