Very moisturising & soothing but still always patch test before widespread use.
Attributes include:
- conditioning & encouraging growth for hair, eyebrows & lashes
- may promote healing, reduces wrinkles & stretch marks etc.
- great soother for chapped lips, cracked heals etc.
- can moisturise nails & cuticles & has antifungal action
- may offer relief to arthritic joints
It is penetrating and drawing. It can be applied as a ‘pack’. Soak a piece of cotton or flannel in castor oil. Apply to skin – cover with an impervious layer eg. plastic; and top with a heat pack or hot water bottle. After use the cloth can be stored in the fridge in a zip lock bag or other container.
